At Holy Family Catholic Primary School, we intend to provide our pupils with a robust and creative Personal Development Education that is fit for purpose. The way we develop spiritually, morally, mentally and physically is at the core of who we are, therefore we feel it is crucial that we provide the best Personal Development Education.
We consider it our duty to develop in our pupils a sense of self-worth, in which they celebrate their individuality, a caring and compassionate attitude towards others built on mutual respect and a thankfulness of the world around them.
At Holy Family, the term ‘Personal Development incorporates the statutory curriculum subjects of Personal, Social, Health and Economic Education (PSHE), and Relationships, Sex, Health Education (RS(H)E). We offer a bespoke Personal Development curriculum that fits the needs of our pupils. It is built around the National Curriculum, however, this is enhanced and enriched to reflect the children and community in which we teach
