We are a Live Simply school and are proud to have obtained the Live Simply Award.
The Live Simply Award is a program designed for primary schools (and other Catholic communities) to encourage children and staff to live in a way that reflects simplicity, sustainability, and social justice, inspired by Catholic Social Teaching.
What is the Live Simply Award?
The Live Simply Award challenges schools to:
- Live Simply: Encouraging a lifestyle that is less focused on material things and more on what really matters—relationships, community, and care for creation.
- Live Sustainably: Promoting actions that protect the environment, such as reducing waste, recycling, saving energy, and looking after God’s creation.
- Live in Solidarity with People in Poverty: Developing awareness and compassion for those living in poverty, locally and globally, and taking practical steps to support them through fundraising, volunteering, and education.
