King’s Coronation
What a fantastic week we have had preparing and celebrating the King’s Coronation. We had lots of activities to complete throughout the week and finished off with a class party!
Computing- ‘Heads Up’
We had a fantastic Computing day with CLC today! We enjoyed our ‘Heads Up’ topic working on how to improve our digital work and even made a fun game to play on our iPads.
Role Play
One of our favourite areas in class are our different role play areas. We re-enact everyday experiences in our Home corner and love exploring our different role play stalls, based on either our own child led learning or class themes as well as our fancy dressing up clothes! We use the role play areas to use and explore different vocabulary and language, role play characters and interactions and to have fun with our friends!
Story Barn
We had a fantastic time visiting the Story Barn at Calderstones Park. We enjoyed story time with our rangers, exploring the magical story barn, including dressing up in the different outfits and reading stories in the hot air balloon basket or reading jungle. We made our very own book mark in the creative room and loved sliding down the huge slide! We also explored the park, smelling the different scented plants and finding the hidden animals in the rose garden! We loved visiting the Story Barn and can’t wait to visit again!
