House System & Rewards Assembly

We operate a House System in school. There are four Houses, Almond, Arrowsmith, Barlow and Rigby named after four of the English Martyrs. A boy and girl from Year 6 are picked as House Captains, one pair for each house to help the running of our house point system. Children are allocated a house when they are admitted to the school and remain a proud member of that House until they leave. House points are awarded through the week for various reasons and the week’s winners announced at assembly on Friday.

Every Friday we have a Rewards Assembly. Certifictaes are presented to children who have worked hard throughout the week or have lived out our Mission Statement. We also have our online 'Class Dojo' system where a certificate is presented to the child who has received the most 'Dojos'. 'Dojos' are rewarded for excellent work, good manners, independent learning and/or being a good citizen etc. 100% attendance is also rewarded with the winning class each week being able to wear their own clothes the following Friday. During the assembly we also celebtrate any birthdays and praise sporting acheievements.

Here are some photos from previous assemblies. More photos of our Rewards Assembly can be found in the Galleries section of the website.
